AAA Fair Credit Foundation Individual Development Accounts (IDAs)—A multi-faceted financial education program designed to provide low-income families with the opportunity, incentive, and institutional support necessary for them to save for and acquire productive assets that promise a higher income, new wealth and self-sufficiency. The program matches $3 for every $1 saved by qualified participants which can then be used toward college or vocational, education, a first time home purchase, or small business capitalization. Modest Needs Modest Needs makes Self-Sufficiency Grants by remitting payment to a creditor for an expense on behalf of an otherwise self-sufficient individual or family for a relatively small, emergency expense which the individual or family could not have anticipated or prepared for.
